Join a financing engineering group that builds and scales systems managing large loan portfolios. The work underpins a prime brokerage business where clients use leverage and earn yield on holdings.
What you will do
- Take charge of designing and launching new lending products from architecture to production
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs and frameworks for loan lifecycle, risk and positions
- Improve developer tooling, testing, monitoring and operational reliability of financing systems
- Collaborate with product, risk and operations teams to turn business needs into technical plans
- Lead initiatives that boost system resilience and cut operational risk
What they look for
- At least five years of backend engineering with ownership of reliable or financial production services
- Experience running distributed systems where correctness, uptime and data integrity matter
- Ability to mentor engineers, lead design reviews and raise code quality standards
- Familiarity with relational databases, gRPC or Protobuf and observability tools in cloud environments
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight for business-ready results
