Senior Value Consultant

About the role

Supports sales pursuits by showing the business value customers can gain from the company's platform, and by building financial cases that help buyers decide.

What you will do

• Run customer interviews and workshops as part of value assessments with cross-functional teams
• Identify, rank and quantify the business metrics that show how solutions address operational and financial problems
• Build executive presentations with financial business cases that support buying decisions
• Coach sales teams and supporting groups on value management methods and tools
• Work with the commercial desk on proposal pricing and competitive bids
• Hand over customer goals, current state and success measures to client and customer success teams after deals close

What they look for

• At least six years in management or value consulting with a bachelor's degree, or four years with a master's, or a PhD plus two years
• Strong analytical skills, spreadsheet ability and creative problem solving
• Skilled and efficient at producing presentations and documents
• Demonstrated business sense and a results-driven approach
• Background in sales, solution engineering, strategy consulting or customer success
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-energy setting with changing priorities

Nice to have

• Experience in the public sector or financial services
• Knowledge of governance, risk and compliance
