Senior Vendor Management Consultant

About the role

A senior consultant role focused on supplier performance, cost efficiency and resource use for clients in the automotive sector, using analytics and AI insights to support decisions.

What you will do

• Bring clarity to the financial effects of change requests and the supplier costs tied to them
• Review and adjust the mix of resources so that they are used efficiently
• Assess supplier delivery results, quality and productivity
• Question change requests that fall within what the contract already covers
• Spot weak suppliers, roles and non-critical integrator resources and hold suppliers to agreed outcomes
• Compare sourcing options and use AI and data insights to improve vendor management

What they look for

• A master's degree in economics, business administration or a similar business field
• Solid analytical and problem solving ability for financial, supplier and resource data
• Background in vendor or supplier performance management, cost optimization or related consulting
• Confident stakeholder management and communication
• Willingness to challenge current practice and find efficiency and savings
• Full professional proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Data analysis experience or a prior data analyst role
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and analytical tooling
• Experience building or using AI tools and applying their insights to business processes
• Experience sourcing consultants and assessing alternative sourcing models
