Short-Term In-Person Research Participant for German Speakers

About the role

A paid three day in-person research study examining how native German speakers use phones, apps and digital tools in daily life. Participants share their habits so future products can serve their language better.

What you will do

• Attend one to three days of sessions with the research team in Midtown Manhattan
• Describe how you use your phone and preferred apps in everyday life
• Provide chosen examples of your daily phone activity to the researchers
• Complete a brief questionnaire about your personal habits

What they look for

• At least 18 years old and living in New York City
• Native German speaker raised in Austria
• Uses German daily for messaging, email and notes
• Has relied on a smartphone as main personal phone for three or more years
• Comfortable communicating in English
• Free for three consecutive days, Monday to Wednesday or Thursday to Saturday, starting Friday October 16
