Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Join a small central SRE team running a managed API management platform on multi-region Kubernetes. The focus is improving and automating the platform, with independent incident handling while on call.

What you will do

• Deliver the team's quarterly planned work, such as platform optimisation and self-serve tooling for other teams
• Expand the cloud platform across regions and providers while lowering running costs
• Automate operations in Go, including building and maintaining custom Kubernetes operators
• Operate platform services and databases including MongoDB and Redis
• Improve observability by choosing key metrics and building dashboards and alerts

What they look for

• Three or more years in SRE, platform or infrastructure roles across multiple companies or production platforms
• Experience owning on-call and leading incidents independently
• Hands-on experience running production Kubernetes at scale
