  • Build and run Python services and pipelines that merge match data from many sources into teams, players and stats.
  • Make data quality measurable through validation, monitoring and alerts, then fix the underlying cause of errors.
  • Learn how grassroots football data behaves: age groups, season changes, merged or renamed teams, duplicate players.
  • Grow the data models with the engineers who handle acquisition and processing, and build small tools so support staff can check and fix data
