What you will do
- Join planning early, while scope, risk, data and environments are still easy to change
- Choose the cheapest test layer that still catches bugs, using API, end to end or smoke tests as needed
- Build and evolve the framework with page objects, flows, typed API clients and fixtures
- Work with product and engineering to push for testability while designs are still open
- Own continuous integration end to end runs, fixing flakiness at the root cause
- Report coverage and risk honestly and file actionable defects with screenshots, traces and stack traces
