Software Engineer (Mid-Level to Senior)

About the role

Builds software that supports real healthcare delivery for operations teams, clinicians and health plan partners. Joins a 30 person engineering team with room for ownership at mid and senior levels.

What you will do

• Take features from problem understanding through release and improvement
• Improve performance, data quality, reliability and production visibility
• Collaborate with product partners and stakeholders on practical tradeoffs
• At senior level, lead larger initiatives and guide architecture decisions

What they look for

• At least three years of professional software engineering experience
• Production experience with Ruby on Rails or Python and cross stack ability
• Solid fundamentals in data structures, API design, testing and debugging
• Experience delivering web applications or full stack features
• Good habits around Git, code review, testing and deployment

Nice to have

• Healthcare, insurance or sensitive data environments
• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD or observability tools
• Data pipelines, event driven systems or third party integrations
• Node.js or C alongside a core backend language

Pay

USD 140,000 to 200,000 per year
