Software Engineer

About the role

Build and maintain a laboratory information system used by labs, hospitals and doctors. Work with product managers and fellow engineers to deliver quality software that helps customers.

What you will do

• Design, build, test and maintain programs and services to meet agreed requirements and standards
• Take part in team talks on technology, good development practice and process improvements
• Focus on quality and on steadily improving applications and workflows
• Run client projects and deliverables, talking directly with customers about defects, needs and rollouts

What they look for

• At least three years of development work in C or C++
• Able to discuss algorithm complexity, data structures, and search and sort algorithms
• Practical experience with Linux or Unix systems

Nice to have

• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of JavaScript and a library or framework such as ReactJS or Sencha EXTJS
• Project management background
• Customer management background
