- Lead a multi-year AppSec strategy and break it into cross-team initiatives that advance department goals
- Influence engineering, product, platform and data roadmaps so security is planned early
- Set standards for secure design, code review and risk models, including AI-generated code
- Mentor senior engineers and security champions and help grow the champions program
- Lead architecture reviews and threat modeling for large multi-team systems and AI features
- Stay hands-on with the hardest cases: read code, build exploits, test bypasses and drive remediation
