Staff Software Engineer, Customer Platform

About the role

Own the APIs, entitlements, policies and platform primitives that connect every customer, partner and internal product line to the software supply chain. Act as the technical anchor for a team touching every part of the company.

What you will do

• Design and evolve backend systems in Go with REST and gRPC APIs for entitlement, policy and onboarding services
• Act as the main technical interface between the platform team and other engineering teams, building integration paths
• Extend an agentic AI foundation into customer-facing product experiences
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and help the team resolve ambiguity toward clear outcomes

What they look for

• Production experience with Go
• Strong ownership of API design and large-scale backend systems that you have shipped and operated
• Experience aligning technical standards, integration patterns and shared infrastructure across multiple engineering teams
• Demonstrated mentoring and technical guidance without a management title

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud-native environments such as Kubernetes and cloud provider APIs
• Experience with entitlements, billing systems or platform infrastructure

Pay

USD 205,000 to 231,000 per year
