About the role

Proposal work stalls when instructions, budgets and timelines are unclear. This role sets one process for estimators, writers, editors and designers so every bid goes out on time and looks credible.

At a glance

What you will do

• Run the proposal team day to day, assign work to estimating assistants and give feedback
• Set a consistent process with outlines, schedules and progress tracking for each bid
• Pull together final documents, including printing, binding and handing them to the client
• Take on marketing requests from business units and help with communications projects

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree or the same level of education and experience combined
• Three or more years in a related role, with up to two years of leadership or training
• Can read and interpret RFPs, purchase orders, contracts and cost coding systems
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Adobe tools
• Works fast and accurately when deadlines press
