Trust & Safety Product Manager, AI technology

About the role

A product role focused on building systems that protect users and encourage responsible AI use, working with engineering, data, policy and operations teams.

What you will do

• Set the product strategy and roadmap for safety features across AI products
• Turn user, policy and regulatory needs into requirements and success measures
• Work with engineering, data, research and design to build safety tools and workflows
• Assess risks from AI content, misuse, privacy and model performance
• Design approaches for moderation, detection, reporting and enforcement
• Track safety and quality metrics and use findings to improve products

What they look for

• Professional product management experience, ideally in technology, AI or online platforms
• A record of taking products from discovery to launch and improvement
• Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts and their risks
• Knowledge of trust and safety, content moderation or platform integrity
• Ability to interpret data and make prioritisation decisions
• Experience writing product requirements and working with engineering, design and data teams

Nice to have

• Experience with experimentation, risk assessment or safety evaluation
• Familiarity with AI, privacy and online safety regulations
