Vehicle V&V Manager

About the role

Own the vehicle-level test strategy for self-driving trucks, leading a team that verifies requirements on test tracks and public roads and analyses vehicle data to support the safety case.

What you will do

• Set and roll out the vehicle test strategy aligned with safety standards
• Lead and coach test engineers who develop and report vehicle test cases
• Work with systems, software and test operations teams to set verification priorities
• Scale scenario-based testing across the operational design domain
• Manage test budgets, schedules and resources across concurrent vehicle programs
• Report test status, risks and recommendations to leadership and audits

What they look for

• Engineering degree or related field with six or more years of experience, or a master's with four or more
• Track record managing vehicle-level testing for safety-critical products
• Experience building and developing technical teams
• Scenario-based verification and validation for autonomous systems
• Hands-on with ground truth data processing such as high-precision GNSS/INS and LiDAR reference systems

Nice to have

• Certification testing experience such as EuroNCAP

Pay

USD 160,800 to 193,000 per year
