Wealth Management Consultant

About the role

A consultant role focused on growing sales of insurance and annuity products through national broker dealers. The person builds advisor relationships and supports sales across an assigned territory.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with advisors at national, regional and local levels in the territory
• Prospect and gather information with assigned advisors to boost sales results
• Train advisors on products, sales and marketing approaches plus new business and underwriting steps
• Support advisors with illustrations, case design and product design
• Help advisors during client meetings at the point of sale
• Create and run an activity plan that maximizes field contacts in the territory

What they look for

• At least five years of successful sales in financial services, wholesale or retail, focused on insurance strategies
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and how they apply to estate, retirement and business planning
• Holds Series 6 or 7, Series 63 and the relevant insurance licenses
• Goal driven self starter with strong communication and presentation abilities
• Bachelor's degree

Nice to have

• Experience with point of sale insurance sales
• Advanced degrees or designations such as CLU, ChFC or CFP
