Account Executive, Higher Education

About the role

A commercial lead role focused on selling research and grants solutions to higher education institutions, covering new business as well as renewals and account growth.

What you will do

• Consult with prospects and clients to uncover challenges facing education leaders
• Explain the company's products and services to prospective and existing clients
• Deliver presentations by phone, video and in person that turn interest into action
• Manage a pipeline of new prospects and client renewals
• Forecast revenue realistically and meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets
• Mentor entry-level associates and support lead generation

What they look for

• Five to seven years of consultative sales experience in new business and client relationship management
• Experience selling to US higher education institutions
• Excellent spoken and written communication
• Strong questioning skills and ability to match solutions to institutional needs
• Organisation skills for managing a busy pipeline and calendar
