Account Executive, SLED

About the role

Sell data storage, management and security solutions to state, local and education institutions, helping modernise public sector infrastructure while growing a defined territory.

What you will do

• Run the full sales cycle across the public sector, winning new customers and growing existing ones to hit quarterly and annual targets
• Present all-flash storage and data platform offerings as the best fit for public sector needs, turning technical detail into clear value
• Lead pursuit teams of technical specialists, product managers and channel partners to build and carry out account plans
• Develop relationships from data centre staff up to executive level and keep customer satisfaction high

What they look for

• Track record of success in public sector procurement, including RFIs, RFPs and contract negotiation
• Familiarity with working alongside federal systems integrators
• Challenger approach with the insight and drive to prospect new accounts and handle complex multi-party deals
• Strong communication and partnership skills, able to explain technical topics to any audience
• Proven ability to manage a territory for maximum revenue using CRM tools and deliver referenceable results
