Account Executive, SLED

About the role

You will lead sales to state, local and education institutions in Texas, modernising public sector infrastructure with data storage, management and security products. The role involves complex procurement and cross-functional collaboration.

What you will do

• Run the full sales cycle in the public sector, winning new accounts and growing existing ones to hit quarterly and annual targets
• Present the company's all-flash platform as the best fit for public sector needs, turning technical strengths into clear value for varied st
• Lead pursuit teams of technical experts, product managers and channel partners to build and execute account plans
• Build relationships from the data centre to the boardroom and keep customer satisfaction high

What they look for

• Proven success in public sector procurement, including RFIs, RFPs and contract negotiation
• Familiarity with working alongside federal system integrators
• A challenger mindset, using customer insight and hunting instinct to win new accounts in complex multi-stakeholder deals
• Strong communication and a record of building internal and external partnerships
• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Track record of managing a territory for maximum revenue and using CRM tools to track results
