Senior DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Secure the software delivery lifecycle by embedding security controls into pipelines and cloud-native environments, and advise engineering teams on practical risk reduction.

What you will do

• Create and look after CI/CD pipelines that include automated security checks without slowing delivery
• Work directly with developers on Kubernetes and container workloads to spot risks and apply controls
• Turn security needs into usable guardrails and standards for data, AI and ML teams
• Track and assess vulnerabilities, help rank them, and support teams with fixes
• Improve security testing, monitoring and automation, and advise on emerging issues

What they look for

• Proven hands-on work as a DevSecOps or application security engineer
• Senior or staff level independence and depth to own complex security topics
• Experience securing CI/CD with GitHub, GitLab or similar, including automated guardrails
• Strong grasp of application and cloud-native security, container security, vulnerability handling and remediation
• A shift-left approach and enjoyment of close collaboration with developers

Nice to have

• Python experience
• Familiarity with data and AI or ML environments
