Lead Consultant Systems Engineer, Identity and Authentication

About the role

A senior engineering role focused on identity and authentication systems, leading research, design and support of network hardware and software in hybrid environments. The consultant also handles complex production incidents and configuration planning.

What you will do

• Direct the identification and recommendation of significant changes to moderately complex network and software components to prevent inciden
• Tackle incidents and root cause analysis, escalating the hardest problems to improve future resilience
• Guide production service requests and routine administration for moderately complex infrastructure
• Build and maintain tooling used to monitor, modify and maintain hardware and software components
• Implement moderately complex components by assessing the current environment and customizing products
• Run testing, debugging and performance analysis, and document the results

What they look for

• At least four years designing, deploying and supporting enterprise identity and access management in complex hybrid settings
• At least one year leading and mentoring a team in identity and authentication
• Advanced hands on work with ADDS, ADFS, Microsoft Entra ID, ADCS and hybrid identity
• Solid PowerShell scripting, automation, API, infrastructure as code and modern engineering practice skills
• Experience with authentication and federation technologies
• Legal right to work in the UK, since no sponsorship is offered
