Associate Contract Specialist

About the role

A role supporting the drafting, negotiation and completion of contracts and budgets with clinical study sites, coordinating with internal teams to keep site activation on schedule.

What you will do

• Prepare, review and negotiate amendments and budgets with study sites following agreed process
• Negotiate investigator grant budgets and contract terms within approved limits and escalate out of range items
• Confirm adherence to negotiation parameters, approval authority and client expectations
• Coordinate with internal departments so site startup work matches contractual timelines
• Meet target cycle times for activating sites
• Track and report on contract progress and support other specialists with reporting

What they look for

• A bachelor degree or an equivalent formal academic or vocational qualification
• Prior experience giving the needed knowledge and skills, comparable to zero to two years
• Basic familiarity with clinical trial agreements
• General grasp of business and financial principles behind service agreements
• Effective written and spoken communication in English and the local language
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, decision based thinking
