About the role

Suits someone with a logistics or supply chain degree and little experience who likes coordinating people and details. Good work means shipments go out on time and everyone has the same information.

What you will do

• Build transport plans that fit what the client needs, the resources on hand and the schedule
• Gather shipment, client and pricing details so planning decisions rest on real data
• Track requests, resource availability and service schedules so work happens on time
• Keep internal teams and field sales updated on accounts and transport matters
• Log recurring pricing and coordination problems together with how they were fixed

What they look for

• A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation, business administration or operations
• Under two years of experience in transport, logistics, customer coordination, sales or operations
• Someone organised enough to keep records and communication flowing between stakeholders

Nice to have

• A logistics certification such as CSCP or an equivalent

A typical week

• Work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Eastern time
• Review incoming transport requests and match them to available capacity
• Update sales colleagues and internal teams on account and shipment status
• Document pricing issues and follow them through to a fix
