Associate Vice President of Accounting Operations

About the role

Lead the accounting operations function, setting strategy and controls while overseeing reporting, treasury support, compliance and a high-performing accounting team.

What you will do

• Develop accounting strategies, policies and procedures aligned with organisational goals.
• Oversee general ledger, cash accounting, investments, payables, receivables, payroll, fixed assets and financial close.
• Direct cash accounting applications, bank reconciliations and treasury support.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual reports under GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Build and improve internal controls and lead periodic reviews and audits.
• Coordinate external and internal audits and serve as the main contact for auditors.

What they look for

• Demonstrated leadership of accounting operations at a senior level.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls and regulatory requirements including HIPAA and Medicare and Medicaid rules.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to mentor and develop an accounting team.
• Skill in driving process improvement, automation and system enhancements.

Pay

USD 86.75 to 138.80 per hour
