Content Team Lead

About the role

Lead the content side of an inbound marketing engine, managing a team of writers and owning editorial quality and pipeline results. The content must rank in search and be cited by AI assistants.

What you will do

• Manage, coach and develop a team of six copywriters, including reviews, feedback and hiring
• Set and enforce editorial standards for accuracy, depth, voice and product accuracy
• Review and edit content before publication and help the team improve over time
• Work with SEO specialists on keywords, topic clusters, briefs and refreshes
• Coordinate with web, technical SEO and design on publishing, templates and internal linking
• Turn team OKRs into a quarterly content plan and evaluate results

What they look for

• Experience leading and developing a team of writers
• Strong editorial judgement and hands-on editing skills
• Familiarity with keyword strategy, topic clusters and content refreshes
• Understanding of structuring content for both classic search and AI answers
• Ability to use AI tools in the content workflow without lowering quality
• Comfort working with product marketing and sales on buyer-focused content
