Senior Software Engineer

About the role

A senior technical role shaping scalable systems and engineering standards, with hands-on coding and cross-team leadership. The position is remote within US time zones.

What you will do

• Help design architecture for systems and components, weighing options with engineers and architects
• Take charge of key initiatives from design to delivery, spotting risks and dependencies early
• Guide work spanning several teams and shape decisions at platform level
• Keep standards high through code reviews and practices in CI/CD, testing, observability and DevOps
• Work with product, design, QA, security and infrastructure partners on functional and non-functional needs
• Handle complex incidents and root cause analysis, including on-call shifts, and mentor other engineers

What they look for

• A degree in computer science, engineering or a similar field, or comparable experience
• Roughly nine to twelve years of professional software development
• Expert grasp of software architecture and system design
• Record of delivering large cloud-based systems
• Experience writing test automation at all levels to confirm functionality and performance
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder influence, with willingness to travel under 10%
