Backend Developer (.NET)

About the role

Build and maintain backend services for a microservices platform, handling data flows between many sources and destinations. The role covers code quality, testing, deployment automation and secure design.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend code in .NET 8.0+ using common libraries
• Build reliable, fast and secure microservices that meet requirements and service levels
• Create services that read, transform and write data across APIs, databases, queues and files
• Review pull requests from teammates and write unit and integration tests
• Manage build and release pipelines and test plans in Azure DevOps
• Create Kubernetes helm charts, Kibana dashboards and Elasticsearch queries

What they look for

• Over nine years in software development and more than five in .NET backend work
• More than three years designing scalable backend components such as REST APIs and microservices
• Two or more years with containers and orchestrators like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
• Production experience with OAUTH and agile scrum teamwork
• Good knowledge of C, Git workflows, SQL Server, message brokers and CI/CD systems
• Solid grasp of OOP, SOLID principles, asynchronous programming and Linux basics
