Bilingual Employment Law Paralegal and Intake Specialist

About the role

Serve as the first contact for prospective clients facing workplace issues while also supporting the attorney with pre-litigation paralegal work. The role combines intake screening with document organization.

What you will do

• Handle inbound calls, web leads and texts from prospective clients using screening scripts
• Run preliminary case evaluations covering deadlines, employer size and at-will versus contract status, and flag urgent leads the same day
• Send and track retainers and intake forms through e-signature tools, book consultations and manage the attorney calendar
• Organize client documents, build case chronologies, request missing records and draft demand letters and agency filings from templates

What they look for

• At least one year of direct experience as an intake specialist or paralegal at a US law firm, ideally in employment, personal injury or plai
• Fluent bilingual English and Spanish with an American accent preference and a calm, compassionate phone manner
• Strong written English producing clear, complete and structured notes the attorney can assess without follow-up calls
• Hands-on use of legal case management software such as Clio, MyCase, Filevine or Lawmatics, plus e-signature tools
• Understanding of confidentiality, HIPAA and PII protection, and attorney-client privilege
