Business Development Director

About the role

A senior sales role focused on winning and onboarding new advisor firms in the registered investment adviser channel, while managing a territory and growing assets and relationships.

What you will do

• Drive territory strategy and new business growth for registered investment adviser firms, working alongside a partner account executive.
• Mentor a junior sales colleague and coordinate with marketing, product and service teams.
• Present custody, technology and investment management offerings to win new business.
• Study market data, trends and competitor behavior to deepen relationships with existing firm clients.
• Lead in person and virtual meetings and presentations to move prospects through the buying journey.

What they look for

• At least seven years in financial services client sales and service support, including direct registered investment adviser channel sales.
• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of the advisor market, especially the registered investment adviser channel.
• Strong sales and client experience skills with the ability to influence buyers and lead change.

Nice to have

• An advanced degree or credential such as an MBA or CFP.
