Business Development Manager

About the role

The role owns business development for a portfolio of clinical solutions, from finding leads through to closing deals in an assigned territory. It also grows existing accounts and helps meet annual revenue and profit plans.

What you will do

• Generate leads through outbound calls, trade shows, inbound digital leads, market data and networking
• Track pipeline creation and closed wins, reporting progress monthly
• Manage existing accounts through regular virtual and in person meetings
• Qualify new target accounts and support contract negotiations with legal
• Work with proposals teams to define customer specific scopes of work
• Record opportunities in Salesforce and forecast monthly wins and business impact

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
• At least five years in business development or customised solution selling with multiple decision makers
• Proven record of sales growth using a consultative, strategic approach
• Business to business sales experience

• Experience with a competitor or similar organisation
