Business Development Specialist

About the role

A hybrid wholesaler role that grows sales in a set territory by mixing virtual and in-person work. The person recruits and supports financial advisors and builds lasting relationships that lift activation and retention.

What you will do

• Own a strategic business plan for the territory, covering prospecting, marketing, events and meetings
• Find, recruit and onboard new financial professionals within the assigned area
• Reach prospective advisors through outreach, referrals, campaigns and industry events
• Guide advisors through appointment, training, platform access and early case work
• Meet annuity sales and activity targets and grow broker-dealer relationships
• Deliver compliant product and practice education through consultations, webinars and events

What they look for

• Experience in annuity or insurance wholesaling and territory sales
• Ability to build and execute territory sales and marketing plans
• Skill at recruiting and onboarding financial advisors
• Comfort with consultative selling and relationship management
• Willingness to travel for in-person field activity
