Business Sales Manager, Portable Measurement Solutions

About the role

Leads the North American sales strategy for a range of portable measurement and inspection products, growing revenue through direct sellers and channel partners. The role combines team leadership with commercial planning across several product lines.

What you will do

• Recruit, coach and lead a team of sales staff and application engineers
• Set performance targets, development plans and accountability measures for direct reports
• Grow bookings, revenue, profit, pipeline and market share across assigned segments
• Build and manage strategic distributor and channel partner relationships with clear growth targets
• Drive cross-selling so customers adopt more of the wider product portfolio
• Work with marketing, service, aftermarket and operations teams to turn opportunities into revenue

• Experience leading and developing a sales team, including setting objectives and coaching
• Track record of hitting bookings, revenue and profitability targets
• Skill in managing indirect channel partners and annual partner business plans
• Ability to work across multiple technologies and product lines
• Willingness to travel extensively, up to half the time, and work a hybrid schedule
