Claims Analyst III

About the role

Work covers auditing claims data, monitoring how the claims systems run, and helping design new features. Complex cases go up the line; most issues you settle yourself.

At a glance

What you will do

• Review claims for accuracy and completeness, and request missing information when needed
• Research payment and account discrepancies and coordinate invoice disputes through to payment
• Handle complex claims issues and mentor more junior team members

What they look for

• A bachelor's degree, or the equivalent in education and experience
• Five or more years of relevant experience
• A firm grasp of claims processing and how to judge claim eligibility
• Careful attention to detail and accurate data entry, typing at least 35 words per minute with 10-key use
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook, plus clear written and spoken communication
