What you will do
- Lead and carry out targeted or ad hoc independent assurance activities
- Act as subject matter expert in assigned areas and keep industry relations
- Design, develop and maintain the assurance framework and methodology
- Propose improvements to assurance processes and develop tailored solutions
- Guide assurance staff and ensure documentation quality
- Contribute to compliance risk assessment and internal and external reporting, following up gaps and escalating risks

- Five to seven years of experience in compliance assurance
- Strong grasp of best practices for managing compliance risks in a bank business model
- Analytical and critical thinking with justified decision making
- Understanding of banking products, processes and IT systems
- Expert knowledge of European and Baltic regulation, advanced English plus excellent Latvian, Lithuanian or Estonian
Nice to have
- Certifications in internal audit, sanctions or AML
