Corporate / ECVC Associate

About the role

Serve as primary ECVC counsel for a group of venture-backed startup clients from pre-seed to Series B. The role covers day-to-day corporate work under a subscription model.

What you will do

• Act as lead ECVC counsel for a squad of VC-backed startups, handling board consents, equity grants, hiring and firing, and routine corporate
• Draft and review governance documents, SAFEs, convertible notes and priced-round paperwork for Delaware C-Corps and PBCs
• Meet with founders every day under a subscription model
• Delegate work to and manage paralegals
• Help engineers improve internal tools and workflows

What they look for

• Two to six years post-JD with genuine ECVC or startup corporate experience, whether at a large firm, in-house or solo
• Experience across several clients and industries
• A J.D. and active bar admission
• Enthusiasm for building a firm from the ground up
• Comfort with AI tools
• US citizenship or a Green Card

Pay

USD 200,000 to 300,000 per year
