Customs Brokerage Representative III

About the role

Handles advanced customs brokerage work so that imported goods clear quickly and in line with regulations. Reviews import paperwork, classifies goods and resolves discrepancies while supporting customers.

What you will do

• Prepare and file customs entries accurately and on schedule
• Track clearance progress and follow up on every assigned entry
• Audit commercial documents for regulatory and customer compliance
• Classify merchandise under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule for correct duty
• Coordinate freight movement and delivery to the required destinations
• Report documentation problems to customers, carriers, supervisors and agencies

What they look for

• High school diploma, GED or an equivalent qualification from abroad
• Familiarity with customs operations, customs law and government agency rules
• Working grasp of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule classification system
• Comfort with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
• Accurate, fast data entry and strong analytical and organisational skills
• Clear spoken and written communication and ability to meet tight deadlines

Nice to have

• At least one year of experience with a customs broker
