Cybersecurity Architect

About the role

A hands-on security architecture role shaping protection across cloud, applications, networks, identity and data. The architect turns business and regulatory needs into practical controls and advises technology teams.

What you will do

• Design and assess security architecture for cloud, infrastructure, applications, identity, networks and data using secure defaults
• Build and maintain threat models that map attack surfaces, risks and suggested mitigations
• Take part in design and architecture reviews, advising project and engineering teams on security
• Help shape the security architecture roadmap and assess new technologies for future initiatives
• Act as a subject matter expert on secure design for engineering, infrastructure and product groups
• Promote zero trust, least privilege access and layered defense across enterprise systems

What they look for

• Ability to translate HIPAA, HITRUST and NIST Cybersecurity Framework requirements into technical controls
• Experience designing security architecture across cloud, application, identity, network and data environments
• Skill in threat modeling and secure by design practices
• Ability to mentor engineers on secure design and approved security standards
• Collaboration with legal, privacy, compliance and risk teams on policy and regulatory needs
