Senior HCL Digital Experience (DX) / WCM Developer

About the role

Build, maintain and optimise enterprise portals on HCL Digital Experience and Web Content Manager. Design scalable components, integrate services and resolve performance issues.

What you will do

• Develop and optimise enterprise portals built on HCL Digital Experience and Web Content Manager
• Design and configure WCM components, templates and functionality
• Implement backend solutions in Java and Java EE, including portlets and JSF
• Integrate external services through WCM and DAM REST APIs
• Build and maintain frontend interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX
• Analyse monitoring data, diagnose incidents and fix performance bottlenecks

What they look for

• Five to eight years in enterprise web development, ideally with hands-on HCL DX or WCM work
• Strong knowledge of HCL Web Content Manager and component design within it
• Proficiency in Java and Java EE, with portlet development and JSF experience
• Solid HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills plus jQuery, AJAX and the Dojo toolkit
• Experience integrating systems via REST APIs
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability, and English at C1 or above

Nice to have

• Experience with HCL DX version 9.5
• Digital Asset Management experience
• Application monitoring, log analysis and complex issue resolution
• Knowledge of enterprise application architecture and portal administration
