Data Engineer

About the role

Build and improve the data infrastructure that supports clinical and operational teams. Design scalable pipelines, connect varied sources, and turn data into useful insight across the organisation.

What you will do

• Create and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for enterprise data needs
• Combine data from clinical systems, APIs, warehouses and outside sources
• Build and maintain BI solutions that track performance and inform strategy
• Keep data accurate and consistent through validation and cleansing
• Tune workflows for speed and scalability and fix reporting problems promptly
• Work with other departments on data driven initiatives

What they look for

• A degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics or a similar field, or comparable experience
• At least six years in data engineering, integration and optimisation
• Practical work with big data platforms such as Snowflake
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience with cloud platforms and modern data tools such as Databricks
• Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, Hadoop and Teradata databases

Nice to have

• Experience with orchestration and automation tools such as Airflow or Jenkins in CI/CD pipelines
• EPIC Caboodle or EPIC Clarity certification
