Data Migration Specialist

About the role

You will guide parishes through moving their records from older systems into the company's software, handling extraction, cleanup and validation while acting as their main point of contact.

What you will do

• Lead each parish through the whole data move from their previous platform to the new one
• Use discovery methods to find, organize and transfer records accurately and efficiently
• Learn the archdiocesan rules for data structure and help parish leaders follow them
• Check exported files for completeness, readiness to load and quality after loading
• Keep parishes informed about fixes, timelines and status throughout the project
• Confirm with parish administrators that the migration succeeded and help them prepare their data

What they look for

• Experience supporting archdiocesan or similar deployments
• Ability to run repeatable project plans and make the process simple for parish leaders
• Strong written and verbal communication with parish and diocesan leaders
• Skill at spotting risks, delays and recurring problems and suggesting fixes
• Comfort with data migration tools and reporting functionality issues
