DevOps Engineer

About the role

The engineer manages and scales AWS infrastructure behind customer booking platforms and worker services, building automation and improving delivery pipelines. The aim is reliable, secure and high-performing environments for engineering teams.

What you will do

• Maintain and administer AWS-based infrastructure
• Design, maintain and extend CI/CD pipelines
• Create automation and tooling that raises engineering productivity
• Watch over performance, availability and security of all environments
• Push continuous improvement in cloud security, deployment and scalability

What they look for

• At least four years of hands-on DevOps experience
• Commercial Kubernetes experience, ideally with EKS
• Solid AWS background, or another major cloud with readiness to learn AWS
• Proven CI/CD automation work, specifically GitHub Actions or comparable tools
• Observability skills using the ELK Stack or similar logging and tracing tools
• Security and compliance mindset with secure architecture focus, plus ability to read and debug code

Nice to have

• Prior commercial work as a software developer
• Familiarity with TeamCity, Helm or Terragrunt
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Grafana or Prometheus
• Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ or AWS SQS/SNS, and with Fastlane for mobile releases
