Director, Powered Land Development

About the role

Build a powered land development function from scratch, sourcing and advancing sites for solar and storage deployments. Lead site selection, permitting, landowner negotiation and community engagement.

What you will do

• Source, screen and evaluate prospective sites, including land use, zoning and fatal flaw analysis
• Lead entitlement and permitting strategy with local, county and state officials
• Negotiate and secure site control through leases, easements and options
• Support government affairs and community relations for prospective sites
• Build financial models, tracking tools and repeatable processes
• Represent the company to landowners, brokers, customers and officials
