EHR Administrative Specialist

About the role

The specialist supports a US healthcare client with electronic health record administration, data management, reporting and daily administrative tasks in a fully remote setup.

What you will do

• Provide daily administrative support for EHR operations and assigned healthcare projects
• Enter, update and maintain patient and employee records accurately
• Review records for completeness, accuracy and consistency
• Retrieve data using extraction tools and organize it in Microsoft Excel for reporting
• Prepare recurring reports and respond to data requests
• Join weekly onboarding and implementation calls and coordinate with client staff

What they look for

• At least two years of administrative support experience, ideally with US clients or healthcare organizations
• Hands-on work with EHR or EMR systems
• Experience with data pulls, extraction, EHR reporting or similar healthcare data tools
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for handling large datasets
• Keen attention to detail when working with sensitive information
• Good organization, communication, follow-through and time management

Nice to have

• Background in healthcare or medical administration, or EHR support
• Experience with CareLogic, Credible, NextGen, athenahealth or eClinicalWorks
