Epidemiologist, Real-World Evidence

About the role

Leads work with clients on using and judging real-world data sources that support evidence assessment for medical devices. The role sits in a health technology assessment team serving federal clients.

What you will do

• Assess the relevance, reliability, quality and feasibility of real-world data sources
• Deliver detailed reviews of research, pre-market and regulatory materials
• Evaluate data curation, architecture and bias issues across healthcare data types
• Review peer-reviewed research and regulatory materials for future study feasibility
• Work with epidemiologists, data scientists and non-technical stakeholders

What they look for

• Hands-on experience curating and analyzing real-world data, including EHR and claims data
• Direct experience executing study protocols
• Strong background in real-world data analytics and evidence use in regulatory decisions
• Understanding of data architecture, curation and analysis methods across health data types
• Ability to work independently on assessments of varying scope

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a fast-paced consulting environment
