Estate Planning Paralegal, Funding Support

About the role

Support a legal funding team by preparing estate planning documents, keeping client records organised and tracking funding matters. The role involves close work with attorneys and paralegals.

What you will do

• Draft funding documents from templates and automation software
• Check documents, emails and other correspondence for accuracy and completeness
• Help schedule client appointments, send reminders and follow up on unscheduled or moved meetings
• Keep electronic client files organised and update details in the case management database
• Monitor assignment progress and raise conflicts with the responsible paralegal or attorney
• Join weekly team meetings and training sessions online

What they look for

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Prior experience drafting and proofreading legal documents with templates
• Expert command of English grammar, punctuation and communication
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and solve problems
• A law degree from a Philippine law school, bar passage not required

Nice to have

• Three years of paralegal experience, ideally in estate planning
• Experience drafting wills, trusts, deeds and entity documents
• Familiarity with HotDocs, WealthCounsel templates or Westlaw Form Builder
