Executive Loan Officer

About the role

A client-facing mortgage origination role guiding borrowers from application through closing while building referral relationships and a personal book of business.

What you will do

• Guide clients through the whole loan journey, from application to closing, and settle any concerns along the way
• Assess applicants' finances, credit, employment, income, assets and property to confirm they qualify for financing
• Recommend suitable loan products after reviewing each client's financial situation and goals
• Cultivate ties with real estate agents, advisors, accountants and past clients to generate referrals and revenue
• Educate borrowers on buying or refinancing and on managing their mortgage
• Represent the brand at civic and community events to build leads for the branch

What they look for

• Prior experience originating mortgage loans
• Holds the required state and federal licenses
• Demonstrated success in earning referrals and producing lead volume
• Strong communication, time management, teamwork and strategic thinking skills

Nice to have

• Three years of mortgage origination experience
• Eagerness to work and grow in an entrepreneurial setting
