Family Medicine Physician

About the role

Provide primary care to a panel of patients with varied needs, mixing in person visits with occasional virtual care. The role includes supervising advanced practice colleagues and collaborating with clinical teams.

What you will do

• Manage a patient panel covering acute, chronic and wellness visits
• Treat patients in clinic, at testing centers and occasionally by telehealth
• Take part in weekly clinical rounds and other ongoing learning
• Collaborate with in office teammates in daily huddles and with virtual clinical teams
• Perform in office procedures using your clinical training
• Supervise one or more nurse practitioners or physician assistants

What they look for

• Enrolled in or finished an accredited family medicine or medicine pediatrics residency
• At least two of the past five years in outpatient primary care seeing patients of all ages
• California state license obtained before starting
• Comfort using technology to deliver quality care
• Strong communication with patients from all backgrounds
