Family Medicine Physician

About the role

Deliver primary care to a panel of patients with varied needs, combining in-office visits with occasional remote consultations. The role also involves guiding nurse practitioners or physician assistants and learning continuously with clinical colleagues.

What you will do

• Manage a patient panel covering acute, chronic and preventive visits
• See patients in clinics or testing sites and handle some telehealth appointments
• Take part in weekly clinical rounds and other ongoing learning formats
• Coordinate daily with on-site teammates and virtual clinical teams
• Carry out in-office procedures within your clinical training
• Supervise one or more nurse practitioners or physician assistants

What they look for

• Completed or currently enrolled in an accredited family medicine or medicine/pediatrics residency
• At least two of the past five years in outpatient primary care seeing patients of all ages
• California state license obtained before starting
• Comfort using technology to deliver high quality care
• Evidence-based primary care skills and a team-oriented mindset
