Field Application Specialist, Chromatography and TFF

About the role

Acts as a technical partner to customers in the western region, helping them adopt and optimize downstream processing systems for chromatography and filtration workflows.

What you will do

• Translate customer process needs into product and workflow recommendations for downstream systems
• Design and run application trials, validation studies and proof of concept evaluations
• Troubleshoot technical and product performance issues and coordinate corrective actions
• Share technical insight and competitive positioning during opportunity development
• Gather customer feedback and application trends to support portfolio improvements
• Train customers on new technologies and mentor other specialists and sales colleagues

What they look for

• At least three years in application support, field applications, lab operations or process development
• Customer facing background in downstream process development, MSAT, cGMP manufacturing or tech transfer
• Hands on troubleshooting of technical and application challenges in customer settings
• Ability to run demonstrations, trials and evaluations

Nice to have

• Master's degree
• Experience in biologics manufacturing
• Exposure to cell and gene therapy applications
• Knowledge of scale up for monoclonal antibodies and other modalities
