Field Application Specialist, Separations Technology

About the role

A field based specialist who helps customers adopt and qualify a portfolio of separation technologies, combining product know how with technical consultation across the customer lifecycle.

What you will do

• Advise customers on evaluations and technical questions, turning process needs into product and workflow recommendations
• Run trials, validations, proof of concept work and customer training, documenting plans and results
• Troubleshoot process issues and product performance problems, coordinating fixes with other teams
• Contribute technical insight and competitive positioning to opportunity development and solution proposals
• Gather field feedback and usage trends, sharing recommendations with product management
• Train other specialists and the sales organisation, and report monthly on territory activity

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biotechnology, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least three years in process development, MSAT, bioprocessing, biopharma or CDMO manufacturing, or a similar field role
• Ability to troubleshoot technical and application issues in customer settings
• Hands on skills for demos, trials, evaluations and training, with structured documentation of findings

Nice to have

• Master's degree
• Familiarity with life science application experiment technology
• Awareness of current hot research topics
