Finance Assistant (Part-Time)

About the role

A part-time remote role supporting the finance team through the whole billing cycle, from quotes to payments and receipts, while keeping records and task boards current.

What you will do

• Draft quotes, secure approvals, revise them and send final versions to clients
• Collect purchase orders and billing addresses from customers
• Issue invoices on schedule and deliver them to clients or their portals
• Chase overdue invoices and outstanding balances, and issue receipts for payments received
• Log delivery cost invoices and keep task boards current with finance status
• Join weekly team meetings and help with general finance administration

What they look for

• Keen eye for detail with strong organisational ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Clear written English for client communication
• Able to juggle several tasks and hit deadlines accurately
• Works well independently in a remote setting and handles client data confidentially

Nice to have

• Prior accounts receivable and accounts payable experience
• Experience with invoicing, billing, payment follow-ups and receipts
• Familiarity with finance administration and client billing
• Previous remote work with a finance or admin team
